Anybody have recommendations for a messaging app that works on a laptop? I went through the whole setup process for Messenger Kids only to realize that it's phone-and-tablet-app only! And I think their laptop is too old to run it smoothly in an emulator.

We just use iMessage and effectively whitelist the contacts (with manual supervision).
